Plantosaurus Rex

Dinosaurs have invaded the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park!

Tourist.
Prehistoric plants.
Turtles existed alongside dinosaurs, but are obviously more badass as they survived whatever killed the dinos.
The reason we came here was to give Dana a chance to high five a dinosaur, and she failed.
This plant would have fit right in with all of the prehistoric flora and fauna, but it (along with all of the below) is in one of the Conservatory's regular ol' present-day exhibits.

Lily pads above water and underwater.
Photobomb'd.

Christmas in San Francisco

Alright, this post is over a month late, but I have a good reason! My laptop was in the shop for a few weeks (my uncle gave priority to his paying customers, but he replaced my LCD for free). Not that any of this matters since no one reads this blog. Anyway, I spent Christmas with Bonny and Steph in the most tourist-ridden part of the city. We didn't know where else to go, and we knew that the Musée Mécanique (best thing about Fisherman's Wharf) is open every day of the year.

P.S. This is the first post featuring photos taken with my new camera!

Trish's Mini Donuts. I always get a dozen of these whenever I'm at Pier 39.

My favorite machine.
I will beat him someday!

Uneaten bread bowls.
Breaks my heart to see all this waste. I hope some of these will at least be composted.
My Christmas dinner.

Peggy's Retirement Party

This past Saturday we celebrated Peggy's retirement at Presidio Social Club. The afternoon was full of delicious food and laughter. A good deal of the laughing (and embarrassed gasping) were due to the Creative Cursing book that Tiff included in her gift. I'll never forget Peggy's and Josephine's reaction when the first word they saw was "penis." We'll miss you, Peggy!

The fries were so good that Josephine, Mary, Tiff, and I devoured them before I got a picture.
The TV was playing old movies the whole time. I thought that was a nice touch.
Peggy and the dirty-book gifter.
Awwww.

Nighttiming

Inspired by the full moon, I set out on a spontaneous photography adventure with Josephine and Tiff.

Tiff thanks you for viewing and waves goodbye (with her head).
